Project description
The project aims to publish a collection of 6 high-quality children’s books, from three different countries (Croatia, Estonia and Slovenia) all of which translated and published by Sinnos in its own catalogue. The books included in the selection span various genres and themes, ensuring they resonate with young readers across different cultures and languages. By taking part in this european project, we aim to transcend language barriers and expand the international reach of these works, enabling young minds from diverse backgrounds to explore the imaginative worlds created by exceptional authors and illustrators. This initiative aspiration is to bridge the gap between European literary landscapes, fostering mutual understanding and cultural exchange.

In September 2024, Our Little Library extended its reach to Italy, giving Sinnos the opportunity to include in the project one of her most appreciated and brave graphic novels: Annie. Il vento in tasca, written by Roberta Balestrucci Fancellu and illustrated by the street artist Luogo Comune.
The project is comprehensive, employing various methods and activities to ignite a spark of love for books, aiming to educate a generation of lifelong readers. Once the school receives the six books, students are also granted a free Activity book each, based on the stories they will read.
